No. The sensor inside is a cmos imaging chip, not a picture tube in a tv. as long as it doesn't interfere with the cabling it should be fine.
Most newer computer video cards have an S-video out, but not an S-video in, what you want is a video adapter (like the ATI TV Wonder series) that has an S-video in. Not all have an s-video in so make sure you check for it before you buy anything.
The easist way is to get something that broadcasts infraed light, ie a remote control and then aim it at the camera. This will create a large white sport on the camera image which will usually completely obsure the picture.
The 2nd way is to find out what frequency the wireless camera is broadcasting on, ie 2.4ghz and get another device that broadcasts on the same frequency (ie a cordlss phone) and plug it in next to it / near it. This doesnt always work though because it needs to be on the right channel.
