How to Install a Screen Protector
- Clean the LCD completely. Make sure there is no dust, dirt, grime or smudges on the screen before adhering the protector.
- Cut the protector to fit the size of the screen.
- Peel the protector back from its film slowly and carefully. After 1 inch of the protector has been peeled away, line up the top of the protector with the top of the screen.
- Adhere the protector to the screen. Scrape with a credit card to ensure there are no air bubbles or wrinkles as you work down the screen

About a month ago I gave a huge scratch to my lenovo Idapad, and was trying to get rid of it, I ve tried some scrath removers but they only remove the scrath like 50%, so I ve decided to try this protector, now that is on, you cant even seen the scratch. It is very transparent, you wont even notice. I only made one mistake, because i took it off afeter the first time i put it on the screen and some dust particles beneath it but you have to make sure the enviroment its superclean. I highly recommend this protector its very nice, it protects and hides scratches. Apply it with credit card to avoid leaving some bubbles and if you see a couple of bubbles leave it as it is because with time they will disappear. It is reusable, and washable, trust me I ve tried it. Very good product the only thing you need is patience to put it.

Stuff works good. you just gotta make sure your screen is very very clean before you install the screen guard. will protect the value of your computer. Like other users had experienced, there is tiny air bubbles. However, they are not visible when the computer is on. Just follow the directions you will be fine. I can definitely tell the differences.

I have been using this screen for 2 1/2 months and it has made a tremendous difference. Before using it, I was experiencing a great deal of eye strain and this protector has eliminated the glare. once installed, the screen is virtually invisible and works very well. There is no other product I found to be suitable for the highly glossy laptop screen. I would encourage others with glare problems to give this product a try.

Just had to say that this product works very well. Totally eliminates the horrible reflections I was seeing on my new laptop monitor. It takes some work to get it on without bubbles. Plan an hour or two. But, it is well worth the effort.

I just applied this to my screen and it does everything i expected. I have an HP Pavilion in the dv4 line with a 15.6" widescreen. the screen is super glossy which has been driving me crazy since day and makes the computer nearly impossible to use outdoors, much less near a window. This screen cover applied easily, is nearly invisible, and turns the previously reflective screen to a glare-free one. I love it. It was a little pricey for what it is (a thick plastic film) but it was well worth the price.

This does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can rest easy about touching my screen, and closing the laptop lid on the keyboard. It does exactly what you think it should do. It's very flexible.It blocks very well all the glare the screen natively produce (I dont't know why they produce this kind of VERY glare screen!!!). Now, I can read at night with lights behind me, or even behind a sun-illuminated window during the day. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I like it so much, very useful, perfect size! Great investment! Works as advertised! Beware of the air bubbles after applying. I've got 3 tiny one's that aren't that noticeable and I could probably get them out if I reapplied the screen. I Would surely buy again.

Is there anything bad about skin protectors for laptops?
The only thing that would be "bad" is if you use one of those "invisible" plastic skin covers, and if you use too much, you can damage your screen. However, it should be fine if you're careful. The case might get slightly warm when using the laptop, but should be ok as long as the cpu fan isn't blocked.

Do I need to use a surge protector with a laptop computer?
Most laptops have some surge protection built in, but its still a good idea to plug it into a surge protector at home. Brand doesn't really matter, any surge protector should do about the same thing.
