03-29-2013- Pros: The main pro is that it doesn't need batteries (just press pump it up for ten seconds and you'll have enough charge for quite a long time) and is very easy to use. I don't have to use flashlights very often but it's nice to know that you can rely on a thing to work at any moment. Seems pretty sturdy and durable, but that, of course, only time can tell - I've only had it for two days.
- Cons: I thought that the size would be smaller, but that's not really a con.

01-16-2013- Pros: Fantastic power, all powered by the hand. The hand cranked torch promises a lot. It delivers what you pay for: torch light without battery power source, but the plastic construction let it all down.....
- Cons: Plastic fantastic. I am waiting till it breaks down. Do not give it to a fool, because it is definitely not fool's proof.
- Other Thoughts: Will be good if this product was made from more durable plastic, or better metal, because I like the idea that something will outlast me, rather than other way around....

11-12-2012- Pros: Quality at an altitude! Everything works great! Helped me and helps in cases where ekstvennye turning off the lights. Very bright and does not need any batteries. Quite a few times to press the handle dynamo mechanism, and it starts to shine. He liked it and my little baby. He plays with it in the daytime.

09-14-2012- Pros: This is a great product. I bought this for my son who has to go to bus stop in the dark in winter. He has encountered several wild animals over the years,so he must have a flashlight for safety. this is a perfect one,it is very bright and holds a charge for a very long time and no batteries needed.

Yes. Currently available LEDs are more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs, but less than florescent bulbs with the same light output.
