03-29-2013- Pros: The main pro is that it doesn't need batteries (just press pump it up for ten seconds and you'll have enough charge for quite a long time) and is very easy to use. I don't have to use flashlights very often but it's nice to know that you can rely on a thing to work at any moment. Seems pretty sturdy and durable, but that, of course, only time can tell - I've only had it for two days.
- Cons: I thought that the size would be smaller, but that's not really a con.
- Other Thoughts: None!

03-10-2011- Other Thoughts: Works way better than I expected. I wound it for one minute the first night. The three LEDs are extremely bright. Bright enough to blind you if you look straight at them

02-02-2011- Other Thoughts: I gave this light 60 cranks last night and set it next to my bed expecting it to go out in 10-15 minutes; 90 minutes later I went to sleep and it was still on. So today I gave it 200 cranks and it's been on for 2 hours. I'm only lighting one of the 3 LEDs. I love it. I can't walk past a LED flashlight display without picking up every model. LEDs fascinate me and driving them with solar power is the perfect marriage. I paid $15 for mine at Gander Mountain and it goes into my Emergency Go Kit.

08-26-2010- Other Thoughts: I bought this flashlight to save on disposable batteries. The light has two modes, 1 bulb and 3 bulbs. 1 bulb is bright enough and 3 bulbs could light up an entire room

- What is an LED?
A light emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits visible light when electrical current passes through it, it is a special kind of diode.
- Could you give more detailed explanations about these LED advantages?
Yes. Currently available LEDs are more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs, but less than florescent bulbs with the same light output. The power consumption of popular LEDs ranges from 30mW to 200 mW. People can save money & energy by using LEDs instead of equivalent incandescent decorative bulbs.
The rated average working life of LED is 100,000 hours compared with 1,000 hours of incandescent bulbs.
LEDs emit cold lights as working LEDs generate very small amount of heat, so LEDs are much safer than equivalent incandescent light bulbs in terms of danger of fire. LEDs don't have filaments to heat up in order to emit lights just like the case of incandescent bulbs. Lights are emitted from LEDs as a result of energy exchange occurring in the different semiconductor materials an LED is made of.
LEDs are usually shielded with solid transparent plastic materials so they are more rugged than incandescent and florescent bulbs that are usually sealed with glass.
- How should I store my flashlight?
Store your flashlight in a cool, dry place that is conveniently located and easy to reach in case of an emergency or power outage. Don't store your flashlight in direct sunlight.
