08-26-2010- Other Thoughts: I bought this flashlight to save on disposable batteries. The light has two modes, 1 bulb and 3 bulbs. 1 bulb is bright enough and 3 bulbs could light up an entire room

07-11-2011- Pros: No batteries required! Works with ease! Small! Handy! Affordable!
- Cons: The light isn't as bright as other flashlights Some people might be a little dissapointed with the strength of the light
- Other Thoughts: I find this a really good item to use. It is easy to use, it is fun to use, and it works! There are no batteries required - this saves on money and is good for the environment! The light is not as strong as other torches, however it is strong enough to be able to see a book, or find something in the dark, or to use in case of blackout!

10-19-2010- Other Thoughts: Not quite as bright a conventional flashlight, but certainly bright enough. No battery feature can't be beat. Manufacturer claims it will stay on for a hour with a one minute wind. I've never left mine on that long, but I've only needed to wind it once in over a year. This is an excellent flashlight. I've bought several.

Yes. Currently available LEDs are more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs, but less than florescent bulbs with the same light output. LEDs don't have filaments to heat up in order to emit lights just like the case of incandescent bulbs.
