- Absolutely incredible....they spec a range of 1500 meters and I've been able to still see the beam with the naked eye on buildings over 1600 meters away at night. I've used a pair of binoculars and the range far exceeds even that at night. A great value and I now have 3 of these....all giving the same performance. This product either out performs or provides equal performance to green lasers costing far more

- I use it for my presentations, and the color being green for right now picks up people's attention. My kids use it to play with the dog, but must constantly warn against flashing towards faces. Great for pointing out stars. The kids can follow the direction much better with the visible pointer.

- I just received mine and tried it out. It worked perfectly. No such problems as described by many reviewers. This is an inexpensive model and should not be expected to have the high quality of its more expensive counterparts. Nevertheless, both craftmanship and quality of this laser pointer are more than acceptable. The green dot projects by the pointer is not perfectly focused but is also not bad. I do not know about two city blocks, but I was able to project the green dot on a wall 200 feet away. I bought this pointer primarily for presentation and 200 feet range is more than what I need.

- I was looking for a laser pointer for my undergraduate class that takes place in a mid-size lecture hall (~20x30 meters). Standard red (625nm) laser-pointers with 1mW output (class 2) turned out to be far too weak for this purpose; note that these are the typical laser-diodes used in the popular Kensington Logitech power-point/keynote presenters. However, the 525nm (green) wavelength and the 200mW output of this laser pointer make it right for my needs. It is also very compact and has a solid feel with no loose parts. Runs on two AAA batteries. Recommended.

- This is literally the coolest toy I've ever purchased. The laser is POWERFUL. I've tested it out everywhere and continue to be surprised. It's beautiful, trippy, fun, perfect! - This is an absolutely great laser pointer, and an incredible deal. Over the last month I had bought a couple of different traditional red laser pointers at local stores. It's made of metal and has a real heft to it. The button feels solid, and it comes in a nice case. Best of all is it's a green laser pointer, which for those who haven't tried them are far brighter than their red cousins. It's bright enough that you can actually see the beam it makes in the dark. This is by far the best laser pointer I have ever used, and at the incredible low price these are going for, you just can't go wrong with it.

- Great product at a fraction of the cost. The pointer sends pencil sized beam useful in astronomy to point out particular stars to budding astronomy buddies. I used the pointer for the first two times to show two novice astronomers the guide star to locate Comet 17P/ Holmes. After quickly pointing at the star with the laser pointer, both were able to locate the star immediately and have Comet Holmes in their field of view of their binoculars.
