3.5mm retractable extend cable for iPod to Car Aux stereo is a cable for anyone who with a iPod. The cable allows you to plug your iPod directly to your car aux stereo and play the music right off the player. Connect your iPod to multimedia speakers, car stereos, and a host of other audio products with this retractable cable. The cord, which includes a single 3.5 mm male connector on each end, measures 2.8 feet long when fully extended. More importantly, the cord offers a fast and easy way to extend your audio player connection beyond a few inches. Simply plug one end into your iPod's 3.5 mm headphone jack and the other into the auxiliary input of your preferred audio device, such as a car stereo or boombox. Once connected, you'll enjoy a full range of audio options. Plus, when you're not using the cord, it retracts into its slim housing for storage.

Product FAQs
  • Is there a difference between a PSP aux able and an iPod aux cable?
  • The aux cable for patching sound through a stereo? There's no difference. You should be able to pick one up for around $5 at any department store that sells electronics.

If you mean the sync cable for a computer, then there is a difference between gadgets--but it doesn't matter who manufactures them.

  • Can I use an AUX cable to connect my ipod to my computer? If so, how?
  • You should just unplug the computer speakers from your computer and plug them into the iPods headphone jack. All the other ways would be complicated. For example, you'd have to plug your aux cord into the audio-input jack (if you computer's sound card even has one) and then get a program that can pick up the signal. Then you'd have to replay it.

  • Connect an iPod through the USB cable or AUX port?
  • More then likely you have the same pioneer deck as i do or a little newer version, I say hook the USB cable up for two reasons (the same reasons i use mine) the Ipod can be controlled by the deck and also as a added bonus if you have memory sticks with mp3's saved on them you can plug the stick into the USB cable and play them, I like this feature on the pioneer decks saves on having Cd's kicking around my car. As for sound quality i don't see any difference.
