What defines "MP5"?- Well it's a good question, and the reason you probably haven't heard of it before is because it's still relatively new! MP5 defines multi usage of multiple video formats often without the need of converting before play. The new term is 'DNP' (Download and play)
- So yes that means you can play all favorite video files including RMVB, AVI/DivX/MP4 files , DVD, WMV, ASF, AVI, MP4, MPEG, SVCD, VCD, 3GP, FLV, MOV and WMA files, and for the majority you wont need to convert them before dragging onto your player and playing. We always supply video conversion software for most video formats on the included CD should you need to preconcert though this is rare - the process is very simple
- Simply plug your MP5 player into your pc with the supplied USB connection cable, wait a few minutes while the driver installs, then simply drag your files onto your player. It really is as simple as that! Now you won't get that on your iPod, nor will you get multitasking - listen to your radio whilst reading books/playing games
How to Choose a MP5 Player:
- Consier the amount of storage available. At the lower end of the market a 512mb to 1Gb player will generally hold up to 200 songs
- Think about portability; if you have an active lifestyle then you will need a player that is small and compact. If you intend to use your player whilst jogging or whilst training in the Gym then a flash based system will be a better choice as they contain no moving parts and therefore won't skip
- Decide on the type of interface you want. Will the interface be easy to access and use on the move or will it require 100% of your attention to choose your songs? This is one area that is often overlooked and is one of the major areas of dissatisfaction among users
- Examine how the device is powered. Many MP5 players come with built in rechargeable batteries, whilst these are very convenient and can last for a long time, if you are not able to recharge them or don't have access to a computer with a USB port you then you will need to wait to charge the player up
- Consider any accessories you may want. Most MP5 players come with headphones but usually they are not very good quality. Investing in a new pair may improve sound quality
How to Put Videos on an Mp5 Player:
- Open your Internet browser. Download a video converter from the Web if your video isn't currently MP4. You can find such a program from sites such as ImToo.com, MP4-converter.biz and MP$Converter.net
- Double-click the downloaded file to open the installation wizard. Follow the brief set of prompts to complete the installation process
- Launch the installed MP4 video converter and click-and-drag the video you want on your MP5 player into the main viewing area of the program window. Select an output location and click "Converter."
- Plug a USB data cable into the USB port on the MP5 player. Connect the other end into any available USB port on your computer. Momentarily, the computer states it has detected a new device
- Click "Start" followed by either "My Computer" or "Computer." Double-click the removable-device icon. This opens a window with all the content currently saved on the device. Open the "Video" window
- Click-and-drag the MP4 video files into the "Video" window. Once the copy has finished, you can close out all the windows, right-click the MP5 icon and select "Eject" from the pull-down menu
Tips:- Trouble hearing the sound, please confirm whether the volume is turning on and the files are complete, for the damaged mp5 or wma files may make noise or even can not be play by the player
- Trouble downloading music, please confirm whether the USB line is good, the connection is correct and the player has available capacity
- Trouble connecting the player with the PC, check the USB connecting status
NOTE:- Avoid using mp5 player in high-intensity magnetic field, highfield, high temperature and moist situation
- Do not wet the USB port, or it will be oxidized
- Avoid shock, over shock will destroy the interior disks
- Do not keep the batteries in the mp5 player for long time (if it is powered by outer power source); the weeping of batteries will damage the player
- To avoid the performance of Li-Po battery decreasing, please keep full charge if without using it over 30days

11-07-2010- Other Thoughts: Just got it in the mail a few days ago. Bought it for a friend for birthday. Helped her load a few videos from youtube and all her music collections. Very easy to do so. <br/>Music plays very well. Video is crispy clear. What else can you expect from a mp5 player? The design is never outdated. I have nothing to complain about. I recommend.
