Lights That Clip on a Cap:

It may not be possible to use a hand-held flashlight when a task requires using both hands. Many camping and outdoor gear manufacturers offer gadgets that clip on the brim of a user's hat, providing adequate lighting for demanding circumstances
- Hat Clip: The hat clip has five alternating white and red LED lights inside a black casing. The light clip slides onto your hat or visor brim, is weatherproof and can be used while camping, hunting or fishing. It includes lithium batteries for operation
- LED Hat Clip Light: The Cyclops LED Hat Clip Light weighs 1 oz. and clips onto virtually any hat brim. This contoured light clip slides on top of the hat's brim and does not block the user's field of view. The light is controlled via a power button and uses two lithium batteries that are included upon purchase. It comes with red or night-vision green light bulbs
- Master Vision Little Giant Swivel: The Master Vision Little Giant Swivel has two legs that slide on top of the brim of any hard hat and adjust to fit on most baseball caps. This clip light has three ultra bright LED lamps that hang below the brim in a black casing. It weighs less than 1 oz. and has a casing swivels up to 90 degrees for optimal viewing. This model has two lithium batteries that can last up to 45 hours
- LED Cap Light: The LED Cap Light has a casing that hangs from your hat's brim via two sturdy legs. This specialized cap light contains an Ultra Sonic bug repellent for preventing unwanted pests when using the device outdoors. It has three white LEDS with a red LED on either side, and recharges up to 550 times with a USB cable. The light is lightweight and water-resistant
How to Install LED Headlights:

- Installing LED headlights on your vehicle will not only give you a sharper look, they will also illuminate much brighter than regular incandescent light bulbs. These headlights are more expensive, but they are more efficient and last longer. You can install just the light bulb into your regular headlight assembly or replace the whole assembly for a new look. Make sure you get the correct LED bulb or assembly for your particular car so it fits and works properly
LED Light Bulb Installation:
- 1. Obtain your new LED light from an auto parts store. Use your car's make, model and year as a reference on which light to choose
- 2. Pop the hood of your car and secure it open. Disconnect the battery of your car before you start this procedure. Pull the negative and positive battery cable off of the battery and gently set them to the side, making sure they don't touch any part of the car body
- 3. Look at your specific car's service manual to get instructions on how to gain access to the headlight bulbs. You will most likely remove the headlight lens cover screws to pop the lens off or go behind the light assembly to turn and pull the bulb out from the back
- 4. Remove the old incandescent bulb from the light assembly and put it to the side. Grab the new LED light bulb with a clean cloth or your sleeve and secure it into the light assembly. You don't want to touch the LED bulb with your fingers, as the oils will make it burn out faster
- 5. Put the cover back on the headlight assembly or put the bulb back into the assembly from the back, whichever is applicable. Reconnect the battery cables, close the hood and test the lights
LED Headlight Assembly Installation:
- 1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from above
- 2. Look at your car's service manual to get instructions on how to release the headlight assembly. You will most likely remove the screws from around the assembly
- 3. Disconnect the wire connectors from the back of the headlight assembly. Remove the assembly from the car and put it to the side
- 4. Grab the new LED headlight assembly and connect the wires to the back of it. Position it into the headlight assembly area and secure it in place with screws. Make sure that it is secure so it will not flicker, move around or bounce as you drive
- 5. Reconnect the battery cables, close the hood and test the lights

11-02-2011- Other Thoughts: Product is great. Very small LED Head Lamp provides lots of light where you need it. Its size lets you put two on a cap - for those who are nuts about redundancy, like me - or for extra light.

- Bicycle lights, how to make it turn on while I pedal?
Like most equipment, you get what you pay for. there are very good lights out there, but they aren't cheap. the rechargable systems use battery packs that fit in your waterbottle holders and are bright enough to do what you want. they come with instructions to mount them, but they will cost you.Do it right.
- How long do bicycle lights last?
Battery lights should last a lot longer than 1 hour - duration depending on brand & whether the beam is set on steady or blinking.
For instance, I use a planet bike beamer 5 LED light which aparently can last up to 100 hours in flashing mode before needing to change the batteries
Check out the batteries first. Put some fresh one's in & see how they go. I'm partial to using rechargable batteries, as they can be topped off on a regular basis.
If it's not the batteries fault, than return the light.
- What's the difference between the 5 LED and 3 LED bike light?
The difference is a little more subtle than 2 LED's. The quality of the manufacture of the light is important. Such as reflector(s) and the type of LED used. I have seen 3 LED light sets that are brighter and throw a better beam than 5 LED lights because of the focal point in the hyperbolic curve of the reflector and/or the magnification of the LED. (LED's have little magnifying lens' built into them)
All the above gibberish considered -- try both lights before you buy them. See if they have a good beam. Not just bright, but do they illuminate a large area?
