01-13-2011- Other Thoughts: This year it got bad enough that I finally decided to buy a light box. What can I say, it works! I use it in the morning for 30 minutes while I check emails. If I have time I use it in the evening when I get home from work. Sort of a strong plastic smell. I have been using the light box for around a month. I feel very good.

02-04-2011- Other Thoughts: This Interior Dome Light is an excellent product. I moved to Michigan a few years ago and have been struggling with feeling down during winter. I had heard about the light from friends, but now that I finally purchased one, I can truly see its positive effects. If you are like me and feel down during the winter because of the lack of Sun, I would highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money.

11-12-2010- Other Thoughts: The adaptors supplied allow the use of various different types of existing holders to be used. The light is brilliant white and hurts the eyses to look at it. My van is like daylight now, i can easily read a map at night no problem.

03-01-2011- Other Thoughts: This is great Interior Dome Light at a very good price point. I suffer from seasonal affective disorder, so I really value my lamp. I was excited to order and receive my bulb. It lasts a very long time, saves me money compared to incandescent bulbs, and does not flicker! The light is soft, easy on my eyes, and yet gives me all the illumination I need and really helps lift my mood.

- Why does LED cost more than light bulbs?
LED's are much more efficient (use less electricity) and last much longer that incadescent OR compact fluorescent bulbs.
- White LEDs, what can they illuminate? Can I use White LEDs to light up different color lenses?
White LEDs are made by placing a yellow phosphorus coating over a 470nm blue LED chip giving the white LED a cool white or florescent appearance.
- How do I compare the brightness of different LEDs?
Generally LED intensity is measured in mcd (millicandela). Due to advances in technology some very bright LEDs are now called out in cd (candela). It is always important to know the intensity in mcd/cd and the full angle of illumination taken at specific drive current (measured in milliamps, mA). To accurately compare one LED to another, the Angle of Illumination and current levels must be the same.
