Works great for my 360 at first thought it was going to be a knock off or something like that, but was delivered really fast & was an authentic Microsoft product and way cheaper then buying it at a retail spot. The Xbox 360 HD A/V Cable I purchased arrived at my house way sooner than I expected. It was in very good condition, but the best thing about it was the fact that it is 1st party accesory but it was at least $10 cheaper than the cheapest 3rd party one I could find in any store. If you run your xbox into your tv's hdmi input but want to run your audio into a device that requires rca jacks, this item is really valuable. MS pairs an identical adapter with an hdmi cable for $50. This adapter works just as well as the name brand. Highly recommended. What's more, the shipping was extremly fast, absolutly no problems.

How do i know if my xbox 360 av cables do not work?
Cables do not work if screen black. To test it if you like got any friends with 360, if not, you can call gamestores around you and see if they can test it they will has long as they have used av cables on stock .

Could other game cable be used to XBox 360?
You should be perfectly fine when you use the component cables that come with the system. Hope my advice helpfully!

What's the difference between the HDMI and HD Component Cable for Xbox 360?
The advantage of HDMI is that it has digital video and audio all in one cable, while component cables uses 5 plugs for analog video and audio. If you have a 720p/1080i TV, you can use either one. There's practically no difference between the two. If you have 1080p, the picture might look better using HDMI, but it's not a huge difference. You can go with either one. It's just personal preference. If you don't want the cables getting tangled, then go HDMI.
