It's very easy to use and it works just like it says it will in the description. You put it all together, and use it everytime you're in your car.
Cons:
The plastic does not look like a very expensive stuff, which it isn't, of course.
Other Thoughts:
I use it everytime I drive, especially if I navigate the street with the GPS on my IPhone.

After struggling with a variety of methods for managing my iPhone 3G in my pickup, I finally bought this thing. My Tundra has unusually large cup holders, so I used the bottom of a Gatorade bottle to hold this mount snuggly. The iPhone is held firmly in the gripper but comes in and out easily. I can quickly and easily use the iPhone during brief stops (I would never operate it while driving). Item was shipped promptly by the vendor.

This holder comes with a vent clip too, but it didn't work well on my vents and it actually scratched them a bit. The windshield mount works well and holds the phone very snug. It's also well padded so you don't have to worry about damaging the phone while it's mounted. The bottom of the mount leaves plenty of room for power cords or a line output to your car stereo without any compromise to the phones position. The mount feels like cheap plastic, but it still looks good so it doesn't bother me much.

This is highly useful item for person like me who is on road for a long period of time. Sticks well on the windshield. No issues even if I drive on really bad LA hwys and streets. Holds tight, and easy to mount. The mount sticks well to the windshield when you lock it in place.

I was a little worried that this holder wouldn't work with a case on my iPhone 3G, but alas, my worries were for naught. It does indeed work great with my phone (in Case) and case. The arm movement seems pretty stable, and the suction has worked fine for the last month. Im happy with it.

This holder is perfect for me. I plugs into the powerport in my vehicle and holds it wherever I need to position it to. No problems with mine yet and I have had it for over a month. It doesn't move around on me or anything like that, and I have the ratchet part loose enough that I can just pull the iPhone out without having to loosen it anymore, but tight enough that it wont fall out either. I am actually very happy with this holder.

Received product as expected. Fast shipping, was earlier than I had anticipated. The packaging was complete, and I am very happy with the purchase. I really appreciate the "stop/ pay attention to this" label on the front, because I have noticed some possible "operational defects", that could only be attributed to the manufacturer, and this information, was very succint and indiscreet. However, I am still adjusting the settings, so these seemful "defects" may actually be factory default settings. This is just what I was looking for! It works great and looks good in the car. The only problem I have is getting my Iphone out of the holder. When you clip it in there its is held tight. I just use my car key to get it out quick. The upside is you know your phone is not going anywhere! So this would not stop me from buying/returning this item. Great Buy!

This is my second try at a good phone holder for the car. I have a iPhone 3G 3GS and also have the larger battery so it's been hard to find a holder that holds it tight. This one holds it just like I want. It has come off the windshield a few times, but that may be dur to the heat and it loses suction to windshield. A good buy for the money.

I just upgraded to the new iPhone 3G-S and purchased the new Navigon GPS app. I've used this windshield holder numerous times and find it easy to take on trips with me - especially business trips when I rent a car in a strange place. This adheres well to the windshield and holds the phone without fail. If I had a complaint it would be that I have to remove the phone's hard case, but I expected this when I purchased it.
