The mousepad is simply a great buy. Cheap, clean and large, but not too large. The cloth feels of high quality build and it feels great with my mouse.

I really enjoy my new mouse pad. My old generic one fell apart and I found this online. I like the sleek ness of it and the fact it doesn't look tacky like other mouse pads.

What's the difference between hard plastic (Lexanr) top and soft or cloth top?
The hard plastic top is easier to clean and it is better if you are trying to print graphics with a (close to) photographic reproduction or tiny print and thin lines. The cloth top mousepads have been the more traditional choice with lower cost associated with them.

What are the sizes and thicknesses of the various types of mouse pads?
Silk screened pads only come in one size: 7-3/4" x 9-1/4" x 1/4". Lexan and dye sublimation pads come in three sizes and three thicknesses: "Large" pads are 8" x 9-1/2" . "Small" pads are 7-1/2" x 8".

What's a Flip Top?
Flip top pads have a 1.5" top part that is glued, the rest of the top surface is free to be lifted up to allow inserts to be plced for viewing through the top surface. A good application for this is reference information such as pricing, shortcut cheat sheets, or the pictures. etc.
