02-05-2010- Other Thoughts: If you love playing with candles and flickering battery powered tealights you will love these. These color changing tealights don't flicker like flames. Instead they slowly fade from color to color every 3-4 seconds. There are about 7 different colors that it cycles through such as pink, purple, blue, green, red, yellow and orange... all of which are soft and not sharp or annoying to look at. Again, these don't "flicker" like other flameless candles and to be honest they don't really look like candles to me. These little tealights are great for parties, holidays, or just to decorate your home. Overall these are very pleasant, relaxing, and a definite conversation piece.

02-03-2010- Other Thoughts: I initially bought these for use on a cruise I was going on. Open flame is extremely dangerous on a ship and is almost completely forbidden. The candles were the perfect alternative to provide a romantic atmosphere without putting the entire ship's crew in danger. <br/> <br/>When I got home from the cruise, I realized the battery-powered candles were far more useful than for just that one trip. Because you can turn them on and off, they are great for instant-atmosphere whenever you want, without risking that when you fall asleep the entire house will burn down around you. <br/> <br/>Also, they are great in emergencies! I put little lights all the way down the stairs and it provides perfect light for safely moving around the house. They are incredibly useful. You put them strategically around rooms to help you guide your way through them. Yes, you have a flashlight too, but the little candles are almost all you need. <br/> <br/>Highly recommended. Every house should have one for emergency use, never mind for romantic evenings!

02-04-2010- Other Thoughts: These candles are soo convenient! When you want pretty flickering light thru your voltives (mine are ruby cut glass) you simply slide the switch on the bottom to on - AND FORGET THEM! No worrying if they will burn down and crack the glass or catch on fire or burn little kids if left unattended. I found them to be as bright if not brighter than standard metal encased tea lights - especially brighter than when they burn down into the metal cup. How can you beat that! I'm ready to buy more flameless candles. I'm sure I could get fancier ones for more money, but for the purpose - hidden in a colored voltive, they're perfect!

02-02-2010- Other Thoughts: These tealights have a very real effect in my opinion. They look great as they seem to have realistic flicker to them. For the price these are definitely worthy. They have an on/off button. 3 pieces button cells will last a long time if you turn them off when you're done with them. Their real benefit in my opinion is the part where you don't have to worry about the open flame. We kept them in our windows (next to drapes) for a very nice curbside effect. These tealights are worth every penny.

07-17-2009- Other Thoughts: When taking my honey on a romantic trip to a B&B, I like to decorate the hot tub (bath) with candles. But due to fire department codes and laws, real candles are not allowed. But these are great. In a votive holder, you can't tell the difference. I also use these at outdoor parties on the beach. You can't use wax candles on the beach with even the slightest breeze, but these work terrifically. They're small, easy to store and the replacement batteries are cheap!
