The camera fits nicely with room to spare. The cover is rather hard and protects the camera during accidental drops.

This is my second Boxie. The first had a defective zipper, but this one seems fine. It's lightweight and fits my camera pretty closely. Would it protect the camera in a fall? Only a little. There's no padding in the case, just some fuzzy fabric. I got it mostly to keep dust out and prevent scratches when I throw the camera into my handbag, though, so it works for me.
