I have a problem keeping charger cords - mine tend to break or stop working (usually where they plug into the machine). Do you have problems with this? How do you prevent these issues?

Luckily I've never had an issue with my charger cords. I've had one break but that was my own fault. The USB portion got caught on the computer when I tripped on it.

Maybe it was not securely plugged in. You might also check the warranty on the power cable.

I've never actually had a problem with a charger cord. Once I did have a problem, but it was that something broke inside the phone where the charger connected. It was a very cheap phone.

I don't have a problem with charger cords. As a matter of fact I have a ton extra from when I traded in phones and such.

I do know that you can find replacement charger cords online for a little speck of nothing. So, they are very easy and cheap to replace, if broken.

The question I would like to know is whether it is safe to use any charger that "fits". What if the charger does not list your phone, but it plugs in and seems to fit as it is supposed to? Does that mean it's ok to use it with your phone?

I have some after market ones I bought that broke, mostly car chargers, but I have never had the one that comes with the phone break. It seems like you would have to be pretty tough on them to break them.

I've tried both. The data cord that came with it is lost (but there are two others like it in the house, which usually work, but not at my computer). The car charger ones that I have gotten seem to not fit in tightly enough.

I have a lot of problems with that, too. I don't know what it is that I do to them. I am like you. They usually break where they plug into the phone.
