iPhone App to Track Friends on iPhone?

HeyWAY and the other suggestions, send a message to the iPhone you want to track. The owner then has to reply to send their location back.
Apple have FindMyiPhone but only someone logged into the MobileMe account can see the location, can't share with friends.
If you jailbroken iPhone you have 2 choices.
iLocalis is iPhone specific. It installs a small app that runs in background and updates iLocalis server with its location. Authorised users can then see this info. Also does other things like allow owner to remote control iPhone. Cost ~au$10/yr subscription only for basic version
Longitude is a Google Latitude client that again runs in background and updates your info to your google account. You have to enter your google account/password into app and then authorise people who you want to share your location with. Once off purchase us$1.99 on Rock app store
I use Longitude works well and pretty accurate. You set location updates from every 15 mins to 2hrs depending how much battery life you want to trade vs more frequent updates.
