    My data services quit working on me 3 days into my vacation. I just got back and after going into the Verizon store and exhausting all other options I was told I would have to do a factory reset on my phone. It took me a long time to get it just the way I wanted it and now I will have to redo everything.

    Hi Christy. What is the model of your phone? You're right. It is a hassle resetting unless that's the last option.

    If you have ever installed a paid program, you can install it right back by just contacting the provider and they could help you out reinstalling it.

    Barney that is so true. I did the reset 2 days ago and while I have most of my apps reinstalled and my contacts have been returned to my phone book, I am still trying to get everything arranged because I have yet to set up my launcher program again.

    We have so much information on our phones these days, that it can be devastating to hear that your phone has to be reset. After it becomes so convenient, we don't even think before we keep adding more stuff. Only after it's gone do we realize it.
