How long should it take for status to change after order cancel reques...

Just wondering as the live chat operator tried their damndest to avoid my refund request and I'm wondering if they even bothered to cancel it. So how long should I give it for the status to change or receive an email from them?
Another reason I doubt this will be straight forward is whenever it tried to submit my order number on the RMA request as described in DD help center 'How do I cancel my order'I get a page unavailable result.

The order has been cancelled, we will refund your money in 2 business days and we will email you to confirm that. Please don't worry at all. It may take sometime for the system to complete the synchronous processing with your account. If you want to cancel the order, you don't need to apply for a RMA request, please contact our CS department via live chat, then our colleague would cancel the order for you. Have a nice day.

You should make a lot of follow-ups before you can get their attention. Contact them from time to time until they completely help you with your concern.
