I've had my DS since 3 months ago and it was working fine then. Now my brother got some water into the DS card slot and it's been drying out for over a month and it still won't work. can someone tell me what to do?

Sounds like the main board's totalled!! They don't recover well from liquids.U'd better try a new one.http://www.dinodirect.com/Video-Games/Nintendo-DS-Lite/NDSL-Memory-Cards-1052/
I don't think there's anyway to make it work. It's not to do with the DS cards, The DS lite and DS are exactly the same except the Lite has a Camera. They should both run on the same cards. When water gets into a device it almost certainly stops it from ever working again. Alternatively, there may be something trapped in the card slot that may prevent the game from completing the circuit to work.
The only two things i can suggest that may help it to work again is to either:
* Open it up and check for things tha may be stuck in the slot and see if there is any water trapped inside it (I would not do this unless you know EXACTLY what your doing).
OR
* Go to your nearest technology store (Curry's, Comet, or the equivalent) and ask them if there is anything they can do to help fix it.
