    my xbox arcade has like 256 mb and i want to download stuff and games but i need gb to do that so do i have to install a hard drive to get gb or can i just hook it up to it and how do i do that? thank you and happy new years!!

    Listen to me man, I have an Xbox arcade console and buying a hard drive was the best thing to do, it gives you so much more to do, you can't download crap with the 256 mb, you may be able to download a picture pack but thats it, When you get the hd, take off the cover on the top it has a latch that pull of then put the hd on and thats it!

    just get a 360 HD and plug it in

    umm... Its the same thing. It just plugs into the top and its installed.
