My Ipod nano is flashing the apple logo off and on and will not respond. Have tried resetting but will not work. Any ideas?

It's worth adding that if your iPod refuses to go into Disk Mode and you hear a noticeable clicking sound, it's likely a faulty hard drive. If the unit is a Fourth Gen, however, the problem might just be corrosion on the HDD cable and will need cleaned
periodically. Good luck & I hope this helps.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I had that problem with my Video & Photo ipod. they both weren't covered under any warrenty.
I opened both of them and made sure all cables were securely plugged and everything was in order. I then closed the casing.
it worked from that point on.

My friend had that problem. If it still has warrenty contact apple customer support. If its not in warrenty then reset it once every day.
