    Is it bad to leave my iPhone charger plugged in all the time?

    It's not directly plugged into the outlet, it's plugged into an extension cord that's always plugged in. Is it bad to leave the charger plugged in all the time or does it not matter because it's on an extension cord?

    any charger being plugged in will drain electricity whether or not the device is charging.

    As long as your iPhone is not plugged into it, the circuit is not complete and therefore it is not drawing any power. You're fine.
