I'm running Left 4 Dead 2 on a PC and a friend is running it on a 360. This may be a silly question, but can we both play multiplayer if I host a friends-only game on Steam? If not, which of us needs to configure for the other? Should I be running something other than Steam or should she be signed up for a Steam account on her 360? Or will Xbox Live work for her on her end?

console players would cry themselves to sleep if MP was cross-platform with PC. games wouldnt be fun on for them if we got to play target practice at their sake.
