I bought this cable conversor thinking it would the conversion from Component to HDMI, but it is only HDMI to component, and thus was not useful for me, but I tested it in its functionality and it worked perfectly, so before you buy remember that it just makes the conversion from HDMI to component and not the reverse.

I bought this and it is a real nice cable for me. This is the right choice for connecting any of my HDMI-equipped device to TV, any high-definition DVD player, HDTV receiver, projector, A/V receiver, or Playstation system can also be also used here. But please be rememer, that your TV set must be equipped with the component video RCA input connector. What's more, this cable can also resolutions up to 1080p, which provides me the highest quality picture and clear sound. I like it better.

What can i say, I bought one of these cables several months ago to hook up my Playstation to my tv HDMI input. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one for my other television. It works exactly as you expect. Construction quality is great, picture quality is great. I don't think the higher priced ones will do any better (though I have not tried). I liked this cable enough to come back and leave some positive feedback so others can benefit.

Wasn't sure what to expect at this very low price, but it is just fine and works as it should. Outer covering is a bit stiff being more plastic like than rubber, but I'll not need to be dealing with it now that it is in place. Plugs are solid and tight, no problems found and shipping was fast.
