This cooler is bigger than I thought. I had to remove a fan from the side of the case to close the computer case. Nevertheless, I like it, it keeps my CPU nice and cool and it looks nice.

This heatsink keeps my Intel core i7 2600k anywhere between 78°F to 100°F at load. All the while being whisper quiet. If you're thinking about going with this make sure to check out their website to see if your memory will fit under it, it's the size of Godzilla. Considering it's priced similarly to other heatsinks out there, if it'll fit, why not get it? You'll be pleasantly surprised firing up your rig then checking the temperature. I still don't believe it.

Definitely the best air cooler on the market and its better then the all in one water coolers like the corsair h50 while still being whisper quiet. Keeps my Phenom 955 at 3.8ghz down to about 55 degrees C under full load.

I put this in a i7 950 system, and I am currently running my 950 at 4.4 with HT off at 1.47 Vcore and it is running temps of 29C idle and 71c load. I use Shin Etsu Thermal paste also, [thats good for 2-3C]

Surprisingly quite and works well. Only drawbacks is the fans are either on or off. There is no fan speed controller. For example the mother board has power,ground,and fan control prongs; the fans only have power and ground ports.

This thing is large and quiet. Excellent heat dissipation, easy installation. be advised though, if your ram heatsinks are too tall it will interfere with its installation.

Amazing cooler.. Easy to install and very quiet. Rather large, but I enjoy a full sized case. I currently cool an i5 750 cooler OC to 4.0Ghz 24/7 stable max. temps with intelburn 64degrees Celcius

Why does my CPU produce heat?
The CPU acts as the brain of a computer. It tells the other components what to do when you enter commands into the computer. This is done by electricity passing through a conductive material. When electricity passes through the conductive material, the material will oscillate. The frequency of these oscillations is measured in Megahertz where 1 MHz is 1,000,000 cycles. Therefore, if you have a 500 MHz computer, then it will oscillate at 500,000,000 times per second. The oscillations produce heat and if not controlled it will cause the conductive material to degrade and change its properties.

What does a system fan do?
A system fan is a fan that will cool the entire computer system. Although it will not cool specific components within the computer case it will keep air moving throughout your computer case. In an effort to be competitive, many of the computer manufacturers keep their costs low by only having an exhaust fan at the power supply. In the new era of GHz these exhaust fans do little to keep the inside of your computer cool, let alone the specific component such as the CPU or hard drive.

My Pentium IV fan does not have a clip to attach to the CPU. How will I attach it?
Most Pentium IV computers will come with a CPU fan and this same clip is used. If it does not come with a CPU fan it should have the clip on the motherboard for you to use.
