How to Charge Digital Camera Batteries:
Although some digital cameras rely on disposable AA batteries, most have a special battery constructed just for the camera. These batteries can be charged through an electrical charger (supplied with the camera) that imports electricity from the power outlet to the battery. The connection process only takes a moment or two, however charging the entire battery can take several hours to complete.
Instructions- Power off the camera. Your battery is not going to charge quickly if the camera is powered on during the recharge (some batteries don't charge at all while the camera is on).
- Insert the power cable into the power port in your digital camera. Plug the opposite end of the cable into a local electrical outlet. A light on the side of the adapter appears, signifying the battery is being charged. Typically this is a green light.
- Disconnect the camera from the electrical outlet once the light turns to green (or turns off). This means the charge has finished and the battery cannot receive any additional power from the power source.
How to Replace a Dead Digital Camera Battery:
For amateur and professional photographers alike, there's nothing more frustrating then when you're about to get a great shot with your digital camera and when you push the shutter and nothing happens. Replacing the battery only takes a couple of minutes and helps insure that you capture your next shot

- Watch the meter. Many digital cameras have a small battery icon that appears on the LCD screen. Keeping an eye on this helps you know when it's time to change the battery
- Examine the batteries. You can do this by either taking the batteries that are already in the camera out, or by looking through the owner's manual to your camera and reading to find out what kind of battery your camera requires. Some cameras take common battery types, like AAA or AA, and others take model specific lithium-ion batteries
- Make a trip to the store. Check out the electronics department for less common battery types. More common types should be available almost anywhere: drug stores, discount stores and convenience stores
- Turn off your camera and replace the battery. Many cameras have a sticker on the inside with a diagram that shows you which way to put the batteries in
- Close the battery compartment and turn your camera back on

11-14-2011- Other Thoughts: I got this battery to replace the original Konica Minolta battery that my camera came with after a little accident. This product is great. It was delivered efficiently and fits my existing charger etc, this seems to charge quicker than the Konica Minolta and is cheaper. Don't always go for the popular brand names.

11-01-2011- Other Thoughts: This Digital Cameras Battery is a good quality product. I have tested it in my KONICA MINOLTA NP400 and it performes as well as the origional battery. <br/>Build quality is good and the price is definatley right. I cant comment on the cycle life of this (as its only been charged twice so far) but even if it only lasts 6 to 12 months i can buy 6 of these for the cost of the original so still worth it.
