How to Keep the BlackBerry Keypad From Locking:

If you have a busy career, lots of coworkers and a fast-paced lifestyle, you know how important your BlackBerry phone is to you. If you notice that your BlackBerry's keypad locks periodically, this is because you or someone else has set a device password. The device password stops unauthorized users from pressing keys or accessing the device. To stop keypad locking, simply turn off the password.

• Power on the BlackBerry. From the home screen, select "Device Options."
• Click on "Security Options" and then "General Settings."
• Highlight the "Password" field. Change "Enabled" to "Disabled."
• Press "Menu" and then "Save." The keypad will no longer lock itself
