How to Apply A Screen Protector To A Camera' LCD Monitor:
- Clean the surface of the LCD monitor with the cleaning tissue that comes in most protector packages
- Hold the acetate against the LCD screen and determine how it needs to be cut down to fit over the monitor screen. Trim the acetate so that it is slightly smaller than the area to be covered so you avoid ragged edges of the acetate hanging over off the screen
- Carefully peel the paper backing off the acetate
- Lay the camera on a table up against a book or something to hold it in place
- Hold the acetate in your left hand and touch the lower right hand corner of the monitor with one corner of the acetate. Let the protector fall along the right side of the screen and once it is vertically aligned with the monitor gently press it in place with a finger on your right hand
- Using a credit card (or the pressure card that comes with some screen protectors and starting on the right side of the screen protector apply a firm and consistent pressure to the forward edge of the card and slowly push it along, flattening the screen protector as you go
- Watch for air bubbles and as you press the credit card forward try to push any bubbles ahead of the card and off the screen
- Once you've pressed down the entire screen protector use a thumb to push any air bubbles toward the nearest edge and off the monitor
- Run a finger around the edge of the acetate pressing it firmly against the edge of the LCD monitor
- Don't worry if you can't get all the bubbles out. A few very small ones won't affect your monitor view
How to Clean a LCD Protector?
- Remove the protector from your device. Hold the protector under a stream of warm water in order to rinse it
- Apply one or two squirts of hand soap from a pump dispenser to the damp protector
- Hold the protector under a slow stream of warm water and then use your fingertips to gently rub the soapy mixture over the protector, removing any dust or other accumulation of dirt
- Rinse the protector again, holding it under a stream of warm water. Continue to rinse until all traces of soap are removed and the water runs clear
- Take the protector to a room or environment which is as free from dust as possible. Air-dry it by swinging it through the air vigorously until it has dried
How to Install a Screen Protector:
Protecting a liquid crystal display on electronic equipment or a laptop is important ensure permanent damage does not occur to a delicate LCD. Installing protective film can be tricky because if the screen is not completely clean, dirt will be trapped beneath the screen protector. Additionally, if care is not taken to adhere the protector, it might not go on smoothly and without wrinkles
Instructions for Attaching a Screen Protector:
- Because many electronics devices have liquid crystal display screens, screen protectors have grown in popularity. To keep an LCD screen clean and avoid scratching the fragile surface, you should cover it with a clear screen protector. The screen protector adheres directly to the LCD screen and covers it entirely. With the screen protector in place, you can then relax and stop worrying about permanent scratches in the LCD screens of your electronic devices
Important:
- Please note that one side of the LCD panel protector had anti-scratch coating as indicated by the label, The other side has been silkscreen according to the LCD panel and therefore does not have anti-scratch coating
Installation:
- Remove the protective liner from the silkscreen side
- Gently clean the exposed panel protector side with the protector liner removed with a clean microfibre cloth. Be careful not to apply too much strength as residue on the microfibre cloth may cause any scratches as this side does not have anti-scratch coating.
- Measure cut and paste the supplied adhesive according to the black silkscreen area.
- Clean the camera LCD panel to remove dust or tiny residue
- Use a blower to blow off any dust that settle on the panel protector as well as the camera LCD panel
- Remove the outer protective liner of the adhesive and align the panel protector in place with the camera LCD panel
- Apply pressure on the panel protector and leave the adhesive for approximate minutes to ensure maximum secure of the panel protector to the camera LCD panel
- Peel off the protective liner on the panel protector (with the scratch resistant able) and clean the surface with microfibre cloth
Tips & Warnings:
- Perform the adhesive process in a steamy bathroom to ensure there is no dust on the LCD

04-13-2011- Other Thoughts: The screen protectors are by far the best ones in my opinion. They are constructed with several layers of various glass substrates. They can be removed and reused, unlike the cheap single plastic protectors that are way overpriced. <br/> <br/>The only downside is the manufacturer doesn't provide H x W dimensions for their product. Many cameras have custom sized protectors, but if your camera is not listed, it is hard to know which protector to purchase. The only dimension is diagonal, which isn't satisfactory as not all camera viewfinders have the same aspect ratio.

06-07-2011- Other Thoughts: I bought this screen protector for a Canon 450D . It is crystal-clear, feels sturdy, and is a perfect fit. One less thing to worry about (e.g. scratches, finger prints) during the handling of the camera.

10-29-2011- Other Thoughts: I was trying to reposition on the bottom screen b/c it was crooked and instead of using scotch tape to pick up the edge, I used my fingernails to scratch it up...that of course bent the edge. Overall Screen Protector for Canon is a good product.

10-18-2011- Other Thoughts: I've been using Camera Screen Protector for years and I've complained every time I have had to place one on anything. However, after placing this yesterday I would have to say this is one of the easiest to place on the device, very clean application.

04-27-2011- Other Thoughts: El protector es excelente y encaja perfectamente en el LCD de la Canon 450D, es delgado, muy fácil de instalar,he probado con varias otras marcas y tipos pero ninguno ha quedado tan bien como este protector. <br/>Lo recomiendo si se desea cuidar de daños en el LCD de su Canon S90.
