  • Is it rude to turn off the kitchen timer when it goes off if you didn't set it?

  • It would be inconsiderate to turn off the timer if you didn't set it if the person who turned it on had to leave the room to do something else and asked you to listen for it.

  • Can I use a timer to turn on my crock pot?

  • I wouldn't worry about it. Things are made pretty safely these days and if your home has a circuit shut off on your outlet, it is even safer. I use my timers all the time for things when I need them. Seriously, just don't worry about it. That causes unneeded stress. Just enjoy the meal when it is finished.
