Quite nice to look at, certainly better feeling than using the wii remote for games like the Umbrella cnronicles. Never mind about the buttons because most new shooting games (like the umbrella chronicles) will configure controls so that you don't need it.

While the design of this is really nice - especially the Nun-chuck grip plug. With such a great thought out design, I can't believe they dropped the ball on a hold down for the Wii Mote on the front of the "gun." When you pull the trigger, the front of the Wii mote lift's up out of the gun.

It looks good, but that's all there is. The gun is bulky and makes it difficult to play games. You still need to access the button on the remote which now lay on top of the gun. Because the gun is so bulky, one can no longer reach the buttons atop the remote, which you need to in order to change guns and for other game functions, with the same hand that holds the gun.

Why is the console named Wii?
Nintendo has said that although they could simply improve the graphics and hardware of their next console, they want to make something special and well, revolutionary. That was when it was still called the Nintendo Revolution, a fitting name for the console. Now it is many a times referred to a part of the male anatomy, a male's Wii.

Will the Gamecube be able to play Nintendo Wii games?
No, the Wii's powers will be greater than the Gamecube's (not by much though), so this will not be possible. This is what our Nintendo Wii FAQ thinks.

Will the Nintendo Wii have online capabilities?
Nintendo has given the DS online capabilities, so we hope they will be wise and include online gaming for the Wii. So you can communicate with friends with the Wii like the DS, but the console will be on 24/7.
