How to Connect the Wii Dance Mat to the Wii:
The Wii dance pad will allow you to play popular games like Dance, Dance Revolution. Wii dance pads contains sensors that accurately keep track of where you place pressure on the mat and when. Several manufacturers make dance pads for the Wii. The dance pads either connect to the console with a wire or are wireless and require you to sync them with the Wii console.Wired Dance Pad:
- Lift the Wii console socket cover on the front of the console.
- Insert the cable from the dance pad into one of the Wii GameCube controller sockets.
- Press the "Power" button on the Wii console.
- Insert a related game disc into the Wii game disc slot and follow the on-screen prompts to sync the pad with the game.
Wireless Dance Pad:
- Lay out the Wii dance mat on the floor near the console.
- Hit both the mat sync button, located on the front of the mat near the battery compartment, and the console sync button, which is red and located next to the memory card slot on the front of the console.
- Release both buttons after about 10 seconds. The wireless mat will then be synced with the console.

- Pull the cover off of the top of the Wii, in order to gain access to the four GameCube expansion slots.
- Connect the end of the cable from the Wii Dance mat securely into any of the four GameCube expansion slots.
- Turn on your Wii system and insert the accompanying Wii Dance Mat game disc. The game will guide you through the setup process.

07-13-2009- Other Thoughts: It very naice for use when you are swetty like an animal(not serious :p )an d dont feel like dancing all alone. Then you buy one (or 2 or 3 or 4 etc)of this,and the only thing oyu have to do is to call your friend. It was a little smaller than i had thought and thats nice. And for the first time..tada you dont have to wait or play alone because you have two mat now..jei. I didnt thougt it should work as good as it did

07-09-2009- Other Thoughts: - it works for a start - i play it with the game "hottest dance party" for the wii - its easy to use and anyone can figure it out - its cheap and provides all the buttons that the nintendo one comes with - it came really flat and had heaps of crinkles on it properly from the shipping

- How do I connect Wii dance pads to the Wii systems?
The Wii dance pads comes with GameCube connectors. There is a lid on top of the Wii system which you will need to open in order to connect your Wii dance pads to your Wii system. It works the same way for GameCube controllers.
- I want to play DDR Hottest Party for Wii, what do I need?
This dance pads can use the adapter to convert the dance pads to Wii system in order to play DDR Hottest Party. If you don't have any dance pad, you may get the one which are compatible with both Wii and GameCube. To use the dance pad on a Wii system, please open the lid on top of the Wii system. There should be 2 ports where you can connect the dance pads to.
- What is the difference between the single player TV dance pad and the double player TV pad?
The difference is that the single player TV dance pad comes with 50 single-level songs (50 levels) and the double player TV pad comes with 8 songs (each with 6 levels) = 48 levels. 2 single player TV pads CANNOT be connected together for 2 player usage. The double player TV dance pad is the only plug and play dance pad that allows 2 people to play simultaneously.
