03-28-2012- Other Thoughts: Fits and keeps the control inside perfectly.it's really worthy. It's much more easy to drive with this, than using only the wiimote. I bought one and I'm very happy, a must have accesory.

- Will the Nintendo Wii be backward compatible with Gamecube games?
Yes the Nintendo Wii will be backward compatible, not only for Gamecube titles, but for all Nintendo titles, along with two different controllers.
- When you save Wii game save data, do you get a choice of saving it to the internal memory or SD card, or can game save data only be saved to the internal memory?
You can save your game data and even downloaded games to your inserted SD card. The files are stored in \private\wii\title\FAKE and RSPE folders as either content.bin (ours was 2.7MB) or data.bin (80-200KB) files. We weren't really able to do anything with those files, although it stands to reason you could back those up (or hack them to pieces).
- Can I use my Gamecube component cable with my Wii system?
No. The Gamecube component cable only had output connections for VIDEO and then you had to still use your other composite cable in order to get AUDIO, which worked fine on most Gamecube systems since they had two A/V ports. The Wii only has one Multi-A/V port so if you were to use your Gamecube component cable, you couldn't get any sound at all, and that's assuming that the Gamecube component cable would work at all on the Wii.
