This cable fits well, extends nicely, and arrived in the mail very quickly - I was surprised to get it 1.5 weeks early! The music transfers just fine.:) You couldn't ask for a better deal.

I'm finding that my cord for my iPod is too short, and I have a USB extender lying around. Is it safe to extend the USB cable for my ipod? Or will it not charge/sync properly?
Extend as you wish, as long as you don't exceed USB's cable run length specification of 15 feet. Beyond that point, you may see errors in syncing.

Does an iPod USB cable, allow you to charge your iPod on your computer and download music at the same time?
It's true. you can use the cable to download music and charge the ipod at the same time. No need to buy an extra charger. Enjoy your ipod.

USB ipod cable is not being recognized by my computer! What should i do?
Try turning on your ipod first before connecting it to your pc. If it still does not work, try connecting the ipod to your other USB ports and see if it works. Somtimes, errors do happen on the usb ports, you will just have to try it a couple of times.
