How to Clean Coffee Cups and Mugs:
Trying to clean your coffee/tea stained porcelain cups and mugs? Some stains are too tough for a dishwasher even when your porcelain cups are not too delicate to go into it. Whatever the case, it's easy to clean your coffee cups to make them look like new. And it only takes a little baking soda.
Instructions:
- Put on your rubber gloves. Baking soda can be rough on your hands
- Measure out about a teaspoon of baking soda into a cup to be cleaned and then add a few drops or about a teaspoon of water. The baking soda should turn into a mush, but should not dissolve completely
- Use a non-abrasive sponge to scrub the cup until the stains are gone, and then rinse thoroughly with water. Don't worry, baking soda will not scratch your porcelain cups
- If, after rinsing, some spots remain, repeat steps 2 & 3. When you are done cleaning, your porcelain cups should look like new
