Easy Magnetic Clip Tutorial:
I love back-to-school shopping with my kids because I always get inspired to organize my workspace when all the desk supplies are on sale! I found darling little hinge clips that I turned into even cuter magnet clips. These are perfect for holding heavier art projects or multi-page documents to your fridge or magnetic memo board. And they're so easy to make!
- Apply adhesive to one side of the clip on the flat, round area
- If you are using a brad, you can either remove the prongs (cut them off with wire cutters, or just bend them back and forth until they break off), or use them as is. I decided to keep them on and inserted the brads through the hole in the clip. Press hard so the glue covers evenly
- If you do leave the prongs on your brad, open them up and press flat
- Some bulldog clips come with magnets on the back. If yours do not, apply more adhesive to the back of the clip in the flat, round area and press the magnet on back. I used a thin, strong magnet
- Wait for them to dry overnight. If you are too impatient and try to use them immediately, chances are the power of the magnet will be stronger than the glue, and your fridge will pull the magnet right off the back
- Clip them to your refrigerator or magnet board for a stylish way to hold art, homework, bills to pay, and more
- I put my clips on a tin ceiling tile that sits in my office. I use this as a design board to help me keep track of ideas and things that inspire me, like fabric swatches and cards. I also made one to hold my outgoing bills-to-pay and to-be-filed bills in our office. The clips hold the thick envelopes much more efficiently than a magnet alone

10-06-2011- Other Thoughts: These magnetic memo clips arrived promptly after ordering in sound condition. I have been using them for a magnetic whiteboard to clip up memos and letters. They seem very sturdy and the magnetic property is great. Colorful and practical so you won't have an issue looking for them! All in all, great purchase.

10-30-2011- Other Thoughts: Although you can get similar kinds of products cheaper, I would recommend that you spend a little more and go for these. They really are worth the money. <br/>I think they look very smart. They are sturdy: they hold one sheet of paper or multiple items no problem and the magnet which holds them to the fridge is very strong.
