This Spring Hula Hoop is great for individuals that had a hard time learning how to hula hoop. The weight actually helps. It's not good for tricks or dancing so much but it does trim the waist down.

It's true, I got slightly bruised when I first started, but after a week or so, you do get used to it and the bruising goes away. It is well worth the wait! Really fun workout and I'm starting to feel and see the difference in my waistline. I'm using this Plastic Hula Hoop as the precursor to hoop dancing, which I will be starting soon, as well as purchasing a dance hoop. Just to mention, this hoop is slightly challenging to put together -- but only the last piece... you have to twist and play with it a bit to make sure you "lock" it in, but once you do, you're good to go... a very sturdy piece of equipment. I really like mine!

I love the Spring Hula Hoop! i barely do 5 min a day 3 days a week, plus i do 2 days a week at curves. It works! just the hoola alone i lost 1 inch in my abdomen, and around my waist,in a month and a half. the hoola obliviated my love handles! But remember you have to eat healthy as well. It wont work if you eat junk all the time. 70% is what you eat, 30% is exercise. But the hoola hoop works! good bye love handles.

The Spring hula hoop is great. They are heavy enough for you to keep them up even if you could not keep a plastic one up as a kid. They do tend to make your muscles sore at first but that is because you are working muscles in a place you usually don't. The soreness goes away in a few days and if you can do at least 5 minutes in each direction you are on your way to a slimmed down waist and hips.
