I installed the unit on the day it arrived and had a specific area I wished to place the chime unit (approx. 30 feet away from the door button). I found that the door button had to be pushed and held in longer to register on the chime. Oh well, found a location closer (approx. 18-20 feet) and the unit works fine with a quick push on the button. All in all it does the job and is loud enough to hear in the apartment.

I've bought a whole lot of wireless doorbell over the years to use with our small business' drive-thru window. Wired doorbells have a tendency to get snatched, or demolished by cars traveling too close by, and wireless doorbells have all failed at various times for one reason or another.

I have been using this door bell for a few months now and I have been very happy with the performance. And the flashing light feature is great for anyone who is hearing impaired. I agree with the other reviewer that pre-drilled screw holes would have made the install a little easier.

I had another brand of wireless doorbell and had nothing but problems with it. I exchanged it 3 different times because it only worked half of the time. I finally ordered the Honeywell and have had it for over a month and it has worked without fail. I am completely satisfied with it and would buy one again if I had a need for another one.

I highly recommend this wireless door chime! It is easily installed and works perfectly. We purchased it to replace another brand/model (cheapo one from the home improvement store) that just up & quit after 6 months.
