This item arrived very quickly and was much thinner than expected (the picture makes it look at least twice as thick). the ad also called it silicone.

Molds to fit your keyboard and you can barely tell it's there except in a low lit room. The letters don't light up that great but you can't beat this product for the price.

I have been very pleased with this keyboard skin, it fits well, does not slide around, has not caused my mac to overheat, and has a good "feel". I would like to have the placement of the icons match up on some of the function keys, and you have to look close to see if the caps lock is on, but otherwise it's a good product.

I bought the topcase brand cover first, now this one which fits much better and is made of a thinner material AND does not touch the screen when you close the notebook. Def. recommended.
