While plenty of people are complaining about these, mine has worked perfectly fine for what I need it to do. I have used it for 6 months with an 8gig SDHC card with no problem. I've only copied picture files (my DSLR doesn't have video capabilities). On the bottom of the card reader it does indeed say SDHC. I have not tried using it for larger cards.
