the only thing that I could complain about is that the item is black (good) but the cord is white (ugly) at least I know which cord goes with this item and to be honest I was aware of this prior to my purchase by reading other reviews so I guess to get what you want you make sacrifices...

Folks, you need high performance card if you use DSLR for faster storage and thereby shorter waiting time. With introduction of SDHC and UDMA compact flash card, I needed a new card reader. This one is known brand with good rating and very low price. It works flawless.

I needed a compact flash reader for my newly purchased Canon DSLR. I probably did a bit more research than most on just a flash reader but I'm glad I did. The unit is very fast, and I belive it supports UDMA. I don't require UDMA support but I noticed that a lot of the other higher end/more expensive readers also had the same thing. It's good to know that I'm getting some of the higher end features in this low priced reader.

Although this memory card reader is cheaply made, it does exactly what the description states. However, I'd like to draw attention to the fact that its speed is just outstanding. Therefore, there's no doubt that I would choose this reader again if I had to buy another one.
