I bought this to use as a backup for my iPhone on a backpacking trip so I could recharge the phone battery and use my iPhone's GPS App throughout the trip. It is fairly cheaply made, but it did work fine.

As promised this item was shipped and received in only few days. Charges Apple Iphone fairly rpidly or can be used as a backup battery source. I have an otter defender box on iphone. Will charge with cover on phone.

I also dig the fact that the back of the unit is obviously metal and held on with metal screws. Some units I've ordered from here are, and I kid you not, held together with tape. And not cool double-sided tape, either; it's like someone spends their days rolling tape into little backwards loops so other people can tack the solar panel on. This is not the case with this one

I ordered a items in order to get a reduced price on the second items but when I checked out, it charged my iPod for the full amount instead of the discounted amount. I emailed the company and in less than 24 hours had a response back stating that they would be crediting the difference of the discounted price back to my charge iPod.
