I charged the IPod, cleaned up the software issue, and loaded it through ITunes. The IPod works perfectly, thanks partly to this little kit.

I love this! Much better than buying each piece for $ with Apple. I got it quickly, the pieces are lightweight, and so far have been of good use. I would recommend these to anyone.

This is just what we needed to charge various ipods during a long camping vacation. We are planning on driving half way across the country and back this summer. We have one ipod touch, one video ipod, two new nanos and a shuffle between all of us. I needed something that could charge while in the car and had an usb port opening so each kind of ipod could charge. Since we are camping we won't always have electricity and needed something that could charge in the car. This is perfect. I've already tried it out just driving around town a few times and it works well. I thought I was getting just the charger but it came with a self winding cord with a usb attachment on one end and a regular ipod charger connection on the other, it also had a charger piece that plugs into any outlet. Great deal for the price.

The part came pretty quickly. I've used it a couple of times to charge an older iPod nano and it has worked just fine. Rolls up small so it's easy to store. Great product.
