I agree with some of the reviews that they can be a bit tight but the ear cups are cushioned well and cancels out a lot of surrounding noise. The sound quality is good.

I recently bought a zero-turn mower and found that having the engine right behind me was LOUD! so I did an exhaustive search and found these hearing protector/ stereo headphones. If I had just bought Headset Headphones I wouldn't even be able to hear the music and if I'd just bought a hearing protector I'd probably go mad talking to myself for an hour while I mow...so this Headset Headphones was perfect for my needs. Fits snug, really blocks the mower noise, FM reception is great and the stereo sounds excellent.

Got this at a nice price on Deal-Of-The-Day. Nice reception, I already had an older pair that works great with the analog tuner, but that grew to be a bit of a pain if you are adjusting the volume with gloves on and accidentally lose your station-plus changing stations is a pain with no presets. This Headphone Microphone improves on that with the digital tuner and it works very well, I use them for snowblowing, power tools, just about anything where there's an engine or loud motor running. The older pair has been very durable, especially the antenna which I have bent many times with a hat or goggles and it is still in place and functions well. This one stores presets so it is much easier to change between your favorite stations.
