It is lightweight and portable in addition to having an extremely long beam length. This is the closest thing to a spotlight I've seen in a handheld flashlight. I would recommend this to everyone.   • Other Thoughts: Reserached and reviewed a lot of flashlights before deciding to try this one. Very impressed with this flashlight. It is very lite weight, fits comfortably in your hand with a secure strap for your wrist. Used during trick or treating and it lights up dark streets very nicely. Buying additional flashlights to keep in the house for the kids to use during power failures and camping trips. Price is great for this quality product.
