This drive has proven reliable and works well. The original reason for selecting this drive over others on the market was its excellent ratings for throughput as well as it's cost.

The usb drive is the best I have used. It is fast, I never have compatibility problems. I just wish the 16 gig wasn't more than 2 8 gig drives or I would have purchased it instead. If you depend on a usb drive for back-ups of data transfer this is a great product.

This is the fastest flash drive I've owned. On my MacBook running Windows, I compared the Patriot to two other flash drives: an old Sony the model name of which I've forgotten, and a Corsair Padlock Secure 8 GB USB 2.0 CMFPLA8GB. First, I transferred lots of small files, then I transferred a single large file.

Been using these for almost 1 years now & I can't believe they still working like new! I'm actually going to buy 2 more since these are the only reliable flash drives I've ever used and its fast too! :-)

I havn't done any special testing on how fast this is, but when I copy to or form it I first thought it wasn't working because there was no waiting for the operation- just click and it was done. the covering makes it a little bigger than my other thumb drives, but it feels very secure and well protected. When I need another one I will get another one of these.
