This screwdriver works by having the tip expand in the slot. It does not grip the head. It works very well on a new screw with deep slot and staight sides.

Very helpful tool set for working with electronics, and the best price i could find for such a wide variety of cross heads. However, you get what you pay for. The heads don't seem to stay put, and the handle won't stay extended.
