This has proven a reliable hub. I love the 4 sided design to support any USB device regardless of size... Card readers, flash drives... Things that would not fit in side by side USB ports.

This little device does exactly what I need. I have no idea what customer service might be like but because I have not had any problems with it, I rated it excellent. It is compact with a nice short cord which works very for my needs. It would require an extension cord for someone who needed the hub to be further away from the computer.

I haven't tried many other usb hubs but this one did everything I wanted. My older laptop has just two usb ports and they're stacked on top of each other. I needed something with a plug that wasn't so bulky it blocked the other port. This was inexpensive, simple to install, compact, and versatile. With its short cable (instead of a rigid plug-in) I can just leave it plugged in when I pack my laptop in its case.

The Belkin 4 port USB hub delivers on what it is supposed to be: an inexpensive, compact USB hub. I purchased this to use with a Macbook Pro and it works with no problems. It will fit easily in any bag I need to carry it in, and it is cheap enough where if it got smashed, I wouldn't be too upset about it.

If you are looking for a small easily portable and reliable hub this is the one. I have had all four ports in use at the same time with no deterioration in performance. I am running a laptop with Windows 7 ultimate and Internet Explorer 9 and there is no degradation of any performance. For the price, this is the best hub I have used.
