Well, as others have said...You're not going to get BIG sound out of this. But it is simple to use and it works great when you don't want to use earbuds or the more costly speaker systems.

This product is awesome, it has nice volume control and is now equal to ipod second gen. This is pretty cool.

I've barely had this speaker for a little while and I'm raving about it. It charged within 30 minutes (WOW!!), and its bass quality and response is AMAZING. It can handle full bass on around 98% volume from my iPod without giving me any scratchiness! Its general sound for music ranging from classical to rap simply blows me away. Literally. <br/> <br/>Overall, this product is just what I needed-a small, portable speaker with decent sound-at an affordable price. The sound is more than decent, and it also works great with vocal podcasts. Clarity of sound is truly amazing.

Speakers work out of the box. they are 100% usb speakers no sound card needed cool little blue led under them when there plugged in. blinks when audio is playing.

Cons:

my only real complaint is in the ad these are described as usb powered speakers. they "are" usb speakers no audio jack to use on existing sound cards but audio is good and there is no need for a sound card.

Really like these speakers, small but can fill a room with no problem. sound is really good. I replaced my computer speakers with these ones, conected to my computer with a projector and voila.
