The product design is modestly elegant and very practical The metal hinged cap totally eliminates worries about loss of protective caps for the USB connector. Transmission ( up and down)speed is adequate for modest sized files (up to 10 MGB's) <br/>Pending long term reliability -I've had it only a month or so- I can only give this 4 stars. Again, price to utility is very positive

Well ScanDisk should have added a small ring to the tiny corner post (which I had to do), but otherwise the product is fine.

It's a standard flash drive that gets the job done. Mine did not come with any U3 software. I have no idea why, but I'm glad that I didn't have to waste time uninstalling it. The metal bar embedded in the corner of the drive is not really for key-rings but for lanyards. If you want to attach it your keys, you need to use thread or string--like the ones they use for cell phone charms. The only downside to this drive is that it feels sort of flimsy and wobbly. But other than that, its great!
